Sarah De Canniere

Sarah is a physiotherapist at Waves and also manages the Health and Education pillars.

Graduating as a physiotherapist from KUL in 2015, she has a special interest in chronic pain, shoulder and neck pain and headaches. She is a member of the Schoudernetwork Vlaanderen where she has a seat in the education committee. She also taught neck and upper limb courses at KUL for 4 years.

Sarah is a highly driven and thorough physio, striving to understand you and your situation to actively support you through the process. If you have persistent and complex pain, particularly around your shoulders, head and neck Sarah is your person.

She is committed to continual education having specialised in manual therapy at KUL and completing the 2 year myofascial-dryneedling course with Trigger vzw. However, her priority and passion remains in thorough patient education and promoting self-management and active support principles to give you the power to help yourself.

Sarah is also a keen sailer and loves fighting against the elements of the earth. Her honeymoon trip included 6 months of cycling from Belgium towards the Middle-East so she is definitely an adventurer.
