Lotte Eyckmans
Lotte’s Background
Lotte brings extensive experience to Waves, with nearly 7.5 years of expertise in spinal rehabilitation and chronic pain management at UZ Pellenberg. In addition to her work in outpatient rehabilitation, she was also active at the pain center in Pellenberg, where she developed her passion for complex spine-related issues. Moreover, she has been a clinical lecturer in physiotherapy at KU Leuven for the past four years, where she thoroughly enjoys sharing her knowledge and helping students grow in their field.
Why She Does What She Does
Her fascination with physiotherapy began after her own experiences as a patient, where she discovered how manual techniques and exercises could contribute to recovery. This inspired her to help others in the same way. Lotte views every patient as a unique puzzle, working with them to find the best approach while considering all aspects of their well-being. She finds the greatest satisfaction in restoring confidence in body and mind, particularly for patients with neck, back, and headache issues or chronic pain complaints.
