Background

After completing her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from KU Leuven, Evelien felt the need for a more holistic approach to care. This drive led her to pursue six additional years of study at FICO, where she became an osteopath in 2019. Since then, she has expanded her expertise through multiple postgraduate courses in pediatrics, perinatal support, dry needling, and taping techniques. Evelien’s comprehensive skill set allows her to provide exceptional care for clients of all ages, but she has a particular talent for working with babies and new mothers.

Evelien is passionate about offering holistic, patient-centered care that addresses the whole person. Her gentle and supportive approach is rooted in her dedication to empowering her clients, whether she’s helping babies, supporting mothers during the perinatal period, or assisting others in achieving better mobility and well-being. She believes in fostering trust and connection to create a positive and meaningful experience for every client.

Outside of her work, Evelien is a self-proclaimed lover of food and wine—a natural fit for the Waves team! She enjoys hiking, cycling, and traveling, finding inspiration in new places and adventures. Evelien also treasures time with her friends and family, whose presence adds joy and balance to her life.
