Voor jongere tieners zijn er extra voordelen zoals cognitieve en sociale ontwikkeling, het aanleren van levensvaardigheden (leiderschap, samenwerken, plannen, organiseren, enz.), motorische ontwikkeling, mentale veerkracht en cardiovasculaire gezondheid[1].<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vc_col-sm-4 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_small\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_flex valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-12 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>Toch blijft het niveau van voldoende lichaamsbeweging wereldwijd erg laag bij tieners, en meisjes blijken aanzienlijk minder actief dan jongens[2]. Intensieve activiteiten, samen met oefeningen die spieren en botten versterken, worden minstens drie keer per week aangeraden.<\/p>\n<p>Lichaamsbeweging bij tienermeisjes kan verschillende voordelen bieden, zoals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Verhoogd zelfvertrouwen en gevoel van eigen kunnen [1]<\/li>\n<li>Positieve effecten op hormonale balans, met voordelen voor de voortplantings- en stofwisselingsgezondheid [3]<\/li>\n<li>Bescherming tegen chronische aandoeningen op latere leeftijd (zoals osteoporose, kanker, hart- en vaatziekten, Alzheimer, enz.) [1]<\/li>\n<li>Positieve invloed op gezondheidsproblemen die vaker voorkomen bij meisjes of uniek zijn voor vrouwen (zoals scoliose [4], endometriose [5], en het beheer van het polycysteus-ovariumsyndroom [6])<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_large\"><\/div><div class=\"g-cols wpb_row us_custom_ab613840 via_flex valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-7 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3 class=\"Hoofdtekst\">Eenvoudige manieren om je tiener in beweging te brengen<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>E\u00e9n van de belangrijkste invloeden op de beweeggewoonten van tieners is het voorbeeld dat familie en vrienden geven. Simpel gezegd: als jij regelmatig beweegt, is de kans groter dat je tiener dat ook zal doen. Hetzelfde geldt voor vrienden van je tiener \u2013 als zij regelmatig sporten of bewegen, is de kans groter dat je tiener meedoet.<\/p>\n<p>Mogelijke oplossing: Als je wilt dat je tiener meer beweegt, kan het plannen van een gezinsactiviteit een mooie manier zijn om iedereen actief te krijgen. Zelfs als je tiener niet meteen wil deelnemen, geef jij wel het goede voorbeeld \u2013 en dat kan op lange termijn het verschil maken. En wie weet, misschien sluit je tiener zich toch aan.<\/p>\n<p>Een andere belangrijke drempel voor tieners is het ervaren van ongemak tijdens of na het sporten, en zich onzeker voelen. Voor veel tieners \u2013 zowel jongens als meisjes \u2013 is dit een grote barri\u00e8re. Door zelfliefde en zelfvertrouwen te tonen, geef je je tiener een krachtig voorbeeld. Als je steeds opnieuw benadrukt dat beweging draait om gezondheid en welzijn \u2013 en dat dit voor iedereen belangrijk is \u2013 help je je tiener om voorbij het fitfluencer-ideaal te kijken.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Groepsactiviteiten zonder competitie<\/strong> kunnen ook erg goed werken. Activiteiten zoals yoga of Pilates bevorderen lichaamsbewustzijn en algemeen welzijn, zonder prestatiedruk.<\/li>\n<li><strong>De omgeving<\/strong> waarin je tiener sport, is cruciaal. Als je wil bijdragen aan meer zelfvertrouwen en het ontwikkelen van gezonde gewoonten, is een ondersteunende en positieve omgeving essentieel.
